Complaints

We aim to provide the highest possible standard of professional advice and service. If you are unhappy with any part of our work or service provided then please let us know immediately. We will aim to deal with the problem quickly and we have a complaints procedure to help us sort out your matter. You can read our full complaints policy here.

If our complaints procedure does not sort out the problem for you then you may want to refer the matter to the Legal Ombudsman Service at PO Box 6806, Wolverhampton, WV1 9WJ. Their website can be found at legalombudsman.org.uk or they can be called on 0300 555 0333.

They will look at the complaint independently and it will not affect how we handle your case. They will check that you have tried to resolve your complaint with us first. Complaints to the Legal Ombudsman must be made:

  • Within 6 months of receiving a final response to your complaint;

  • No more than 6 years from the date of act or omission;

  • No more than 3 years from when you should have reasonably known there was cause for complaint.

If you have any concerns about our behaviour then you can make a complaint to our regulatory body, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (“SRA”). This could be for issues relating to dishonesty or treating you unfairly because of your age, disability, race or other immutable characteristics. The SRA can be contacted through their website at the following link: https://www.sra.org.uk/consumers/

Any data that you submit using this website will be held by our firm as Data Controller and will be held securely for 12 months before being securely and confidentially destroyed.
